Some New Feathers for Me
I tried a new feather design last night and it turned out quite nice. I pounced the spine and the rest is freehand.
The blocks are continuous curves and the sashing is....well, I don't know what it's called, but I first decided to use it on the outer border and then decided on the sashing also.

It's terrific. Love that sashing and never thought to pounce the spine when I've done freehand 'spineless' feathers. always learning something new!
