Pillowcases and Cat Pillows
I pulled 3 pieces of "why did I buy this" fabric today and made some cat pillows, because my threads/scrap basket was overflowing. I was able to fill all three of these with what I had smashed down into one wastebasket.
Then I went in search of something a little more eye-pleasing and made these 3 pillowcases. I'll take them to one of the shops near Indy the next time I'm there for the One Million Pillowcase Challenge sponsored by American Patchwork & Quilting.

What do you do with the cat pillows? Is there an outlet for them? I don't have any animals and I tried to bring pillows to the local SPCA and they said the animals tear them apart so they don't want them. I've (over)filled two dog pillows for my friend with dogs and have another bucket ready to stuff into a pillow. I end up with quite a few small scrappy pieces while making quilts for Binky Patrol.
Those pillowcases are so nice and cheery! I need to cut some more out for our HeartStrings project.
