Alice's Quilts

Alice made this quilt for a grandchild that recently got married. She use lots and lots of nickels from our guilds nickel swaps these past two years. I just love the bright colors. The quilting is custom with mostly continuous curves and feathered border and it's a big one at 103" square.

And the back, which I love also. She's very creative at putting these backs together.

She made this one for her granddaughter and it will be a Christmas gift, I believe. What little girl wouldn't love all these pinks and purples.

Quilted with Whirlygig panto by Jodi Beamish, which I haven't used in a while. Purple Permacore thread and, of course, Hobbs 80/20 batting. I have raised my price on batting from $5 to $6 a yard because the cost of shipping increased with my last shipment. I hate to do that, but I have to cover my expenses.

And the back:

That's a great quilt, and your quilting really adds that extra something to it. Just beautiful.
