Angie's Turning Twenty

Angie made this great quilt with some fat quarts that Julie bought for her at Always In titches. They have this great sale where you can get 25 FQs for $30. She bought a set for herself and one for Angie.

Angie did a great job at distributing the colors and I love the Square Spiral pantograph on it.

Hobbs 80/20 batting and PermaCore Eggshell thread.

Ahhh, Back to Mabel!

This little break from quilting has been way too long. It was good to get a quilt loaded tonight and I got quite a bit finished. It's a Turning Twenty that Carole made and the backing is not one I've quilted on before. I believe that it's a woven flannel, if there is such a thing. It sure is soft!

More Sweat Treats, of course!
I actually got 2 of them finished tonight and no I didn't take a bite out of the ice cream bar. The drawing I had didn't include a missing bite, but I thought it would be cute!

Turning Twenty with Photos

I pieced this turning twenty black and white quilt with photos yesterday and I really like how it turned out. It really is flat, it was just not smothed out on the floor. It will get quilted and bound this week and I hope the owner is happy with it. She is giving it to her mother for Christmas. What a nice memory for her mother! It's queen size so I used a bunch of my stash for this one.

Turning Twenty Photo Quilt

I forgot to show this one:

This one was finished and picked up on Sunday. I think maybe I used too many different purple families from my stash for my liking, however, a half hour after she picked it up the customer called to order another one, in black and whites, so I think she really liked it.

Off to Day Camp

I'm all packed and ready to head out the door to a guild day camp for the day.

I'll leave you with a couple of photos of the loopy meander with butterflies I quilted on the Turning Twenty Photos Quilt last night.

Turning Twenty Photo Quilt

Last night I finished assembling the photo quilt for Shirley. It's pretty bright, I must say!

Here are a couple shots of the photos, using EQ Printables.

Can you stand another "Feather Me?"

All the fabrics in this one have purple flowers. It's Cathy's Turning Twenty quilt for the Vision of Hope House. She made a quilt for them last year using purple batiks, but liked it so much she decided to keep that one and make another.

The back is a real yummy flannel plaid:

A big THANK YOU to Dan for taking these photos while I was racing to finish the Christmas Porch quilt before dark last night.

Loretta's Turning Twenty

Here's the full view of Loretta's wonderful quilt. She picked it up tonight and said it is to be a wedding gift, but that it will be hard to give away. I'm going to the COLUMBUS STAR QUILTERS Quilt Show in Columbus, Indiana tomorrow and I'll be on the lookout for some fall fat quarters to make one of my own.
