Sweet Treats is a Winner!

Remember the Sweet Treats quilt?

Well, there were only 2 entries and so we are both winners. I received my prizes yesterday and WOW, what a nice surprise! A coupon for FREE Blue Bunny Ice cream which I kind of expected, along with a Fat Quarter shop Gift Certificate and a McKenna Ryan pattern. Ahhh, Back to Mabel!

This little break from quilting has been way too long. It was good to get a quilt loaded tonight and I got quite a bit finished. It's a Turning Twenty that Carole made and the backing is not one I've quilted on before. I believe that it's a woven flannel, if there is such a thing. It sure is soft!

More Sweat Treats, of course!
I actually got 2 of them finished tonight and no I didn't take a bite out of the ice cream bar. The drawing I had didn't include a missing bite, but I thought it would be cute!

Not quite as adorable as the last ones, but it'll certainly do.

OH yea, I bought some fabric last night. Alco is having a 40% off sale on all their $3.99 fabric this week.



Not all of this was bought last night, but I bought seven quarter yards and a one yard piece of the brown dots to make this one for Elizabeth. Hopefully, I can get some blocks prepped to work on in the evenings at MQS.
