Mary's Courthouse Steps

I quilted this before I took Mabel in for a tune-up yesterday and it is such a pretty quilt. These pictures make it look much brighter than it is. Kind of reminds me of sherbet.

Hearts and Roses by Timeless Quilting is the panto, Eggshell Permacore thread and Hobbs 80/20 batting.

After I brought Mabel back home, I loaded this little quilt of mine to see how she was doing. I used the same panto, thread and batting. I also applied the binding on this one tonight.

If you can stand one more photo of Kylee's quilt...the border kind of dwarfs the center looking at the whole thing, but on a bed it looks wonderful!

I think she likes it!

Kylee's quilt is quilted

I finished the quilting, Popcorn, on Kylee's quilt this evening after a wonderful dinner with Julie, Andrew and Elizabeth. Tomorrow I'll tackle the binding.

I can't believe how quickly they are growing up. They are both very well behaved and I actually asked Julie tonight if they ever throw a fit. You know the kind, it usually happens in a store, and those big crocodile tears are pouring down some little child's face. I can only imagine they didn't get what they wanted and they'll be fine in a few minutes.

Anyway, Julie, I think you're a wonderful mom!

Pam's Crazy Nine-Patch
Very seldom do I have a customer that doesn't want their quilt's photos posted online. When Pam picked up her quilt last night, she decided to not sign the release for me to post them because she is planning to write her own version of the pattern. So, that one won't be shown here, and you'll just have to take my work for it that it turned out nice.

Design Wall Monday

It looks a bit like last Monday, except the blocks and sashing have been stitched into rows. My goal is to finish this one this week, quilting, binding and all.
Check out the other design walls at JudyL's blog.

I hand stitched the binding on a quilt in the car this weekend and it feels good to get that one finished.
