I finished my UFO for January tonight. Winter Pines is the pattern by Kay Capps Cross and I only made 9 of these trees, well, actually 10 of them and the other will become a pillow, or something.
I quilted it today using Square Spiral by Keryn Emmerson, Eggshell Permacore thread and Hobbs 80/20 batting.
I stitched the binding on the machine this time. I intended to do it by hand, but Dan was watching something on TV that I didn't want to watch, so I shut the door to my sewing room and emerged later with a finished quilt.

Congratulations on finishing a UFO. I have tried binding on the machine but it always shifts and looks awful. Yours looks great and now you have a finished quilt for next Christmas!
Way to go!! I finished mine last night, too! I need to blog it tonight.
Congrats on your finish - it looks great!
I love the colors. Great finish!
Wonderful...You got it done in time to enjoy it while the snow is still around.
Really cute tress, just adorable.
What a great little quilt! I love it! Congrats on your finish! :o)
Cute quilt!
Congrats on the finish.
Wow -- great job on that bindng! I have to stick to the hand sewing -- I can never get such a neat job on my machine.
Way to go! The red binding is perfect!
Congrats on your finish. I love this quilt. I'm still torn about putting a border on my #6 finish. I think if it wasn't so old and my style hadn't changed as much as it had I wouldn't be so indecisive. Check it out Ruthie, I would love your feedback.
By the way, your quilting is fabulous!
Cheers,
Dionne
