Carla's sunflowers

Carla made this cute quilt spotlighting a gorgeous sunflower fabric.

I chose to do a freehand flower design, which I very seldom do. I find myself getting into corners and ending up on the wrong side of a flower. But this one needed to be stitched from the front so that's what I did.


I know that practice will make this easier on me, so that's what I'm trying to do.



Mother Goose Permacore thread and Hobbs 80/20 batting.

Ruthie, I think you did a wonderful job. Just try doodling with a pen and paper before you start quilting to get the pattern in your brain and then go the machine and quilt. Blessings.
