Beverly's Antique 9-Patch

This quilt took me a very long time to finish. I just wasn't into it, I guess. She wanted a little something in each nine patch and Dan suggested 8-petal flowers. That works for me, but isn't very interesting and I could only do a row and then had to step away. It does look a bit better to me seeing the entire quilt as I can now see a pattern, sort-of!

Beverly's shirt quilt

Beverly brought this top for me to quilt and she didn't say so, but I'm pretty sure the plaid and seersucker fabrics on this quilt are from shirts. I don't think she's a quilter, but rather a quilt collector.

She wanted something special in the solid blocks and we chose a square feathered wreath. The pieced blocks have continuous curves and the border is spineless feathers.
I used Omni thread and a poly batting.

Beverly's Snails Trail

Beverly brought me this quilt top that she purchased. I don't think she's a quilter, she just collects quilts. We decided on the Baptist Fan pattern and I think it turned out very nice.

Not sure what era these fabrics are from, but some look quite old. She picked it up this evening and brought me another one that will have custom quilting.
