She didn't want a pantograph and suggested swirls in the center. So, swirls it is. I did straight line quilting in the solid border areas, and it was pretty hard to keep them straight. The top thread is Lava, Deep Sea thread and Hobbs 80/20 batting.

Blue Batik String Quilt
Gwen made this stunning blue batik quilt.
She didn't want a pantograph and suggested swirls in the center. So, swirls it is. I did straight line quilting in the solid border areas, and it was pretty hard to keep them straight. The top thread is Lava, Deep Sea thread and Hobbs 80/20 batting.
