Mini-Charmers and an Oven Mitt UFO

Last night at guild, Janet and I did a demo on these cute bags. After the meeting and a stop for some ice cream, I went home and finished up my two bags. I'm not sure what I'll do with them, but I'll figure that out later.

I also finished a long-overdue UFO, an oven mitt. I stitched the first edge of the binding on by machine and the other side by hand while watching the election returns.I'm not sure of the pattern, but it's either a simplicity or McCalls pattern and I'm not sure if I will make a mate for it. The lining is cotton batting and a layer of Insul-Bright.

Halloween night at Rossville Quilts, Sue G (AKA, Lucy Ricardo) took my picture, well, the picture of Sister Ruth actually, praying that she will use the fabric she just purchased.

Great costume! Is it authentic or did you make it? Love the bags! :D

I purchased the outfit at a Halloween shop years ago. We went to a party that year and lo and behold, there was a priest there. We had a great time at that party.

Loved Sister Ruth, I wonder if you dressed in this more often...could you buy even more fabric. Too cute. Once I dressed as a nun years ago...for a Baptist Church party, I thought it was pretty funny.
