I'm not sure what happened, but I was stitching along just fine and I got to a stopping point and pushed the stop button and she kept taking very slow stitches, like I was pressing the single stitch button.
Now the stop/start button doesn't work and the single stitch button causes her to stitch and stitch and stitch.
Any Gammill experts out there care to take a guess.

Oh, no....nobody likes to hear that their best friend is sick. Sure hope you find the antedote soon as I am sure you want to finish what you were doing. Good luck!
Hi Ruthie,
Sounds like two separate issues. The sluggish stitching is likely a switch going bad...just put a new switch in and that should solve that problem.
The continuous stitching sound like you need to adjust the min pot.. Like any other mechanical device, there is a break in period. It is not unusual to need to make a few adjustments once the machine is 'broken in'... It's illustrated very well in the manual...if you have questions, e-mail me and I'll be happy to talk you through the adjustment. All very simple things, and you'll be back to normal in no time!
Yikes! Hopefully you'll be able to mend her quickly, it's no fun having a sick friend!
