Here is my design wall today. I finished the background of the Merry Triple tree wall hanging on Saturday and here it hangs still. There are 3 wonky looking trees that will be appliqued in the center. These are all 5" nickels from our guild nickel swaps.

What a fun background for an applique quilt. And a great way to use up all those 5 inch squares.
I really like scrappy background behind applique, that's going to be an adorable little quilt!
