Julie's Pink, White & Black Quilt

After guild last night I loaded and quilted this cute-as-can-be quilt that my daughter, Julie, made. I used the CL Swirls template, white PermaCore thread and QD Poly batting. It was started as a baby gift, but I don't think the intended recipient is a baby anymore.

Julie tells me that she doesn't have time to quilt anymore. I can't imagine why, having 3 boys, ages 18, 12, and 17 months, along with working full time and expecting another baby in January. Of course, you know that I'm just kidding........sometimes I wonder how she gets accomplishes as much as she does. They have a pool and have lots of guests throughout the summer and she always manages to put out a wonderful spread for their guests.

She really wanted to quilt this one herself, but also wanted to be able to work on the binding at the retreat this week, so she gave it to me on Saturday and now it's all ready for her to put the binding on. Speaking of the retreat............I am just so happy to be able to share the retreat with my daughter. It's really a special time for both of us.

When I left guild last night, I intended to cut out the pieces for the mystery quilt, but quilted instead, so I must get those cut out tonight.......after the BOM at Rossville Quilts.
