Congratulations Jeff and Dan!

Congrats to Jeff!

Yesterday was a very important day for my son, Jeff.......the day of his promotion in the US Army to the rank of E7.

A Sergeant First Class (also known as a Platoon Sergeant), is the third highest rank in the United States Army, an E7. This type of sergeant generally has several staff sergeants working under his direct leadership. He is a key advisor and assistant to the platoon leader. A Sergeant First Class usually also has 15 to 18 years of military experience under his belt. It is expected of him to act like a leader, even more than the sergeants below him.

Jeff joined the US Army in April 1998 and we are so very proud of him and his accomplishments.

Way to go, Dan!

Last Friday at the Brand Electric Holiday Party Dan was presented with a certificate and cash award for Outstanding Work Ethic. I'm so proud of him, and to see him recognized by the owner of his company was wonderful. I didn't get a good photo of him accepting the award, so I made him pose this morning.
