Randy's Bandana Quilt

Cathy started on this quilt for her husband over 4 years ago and it has become a running joke that she is going to give it to him for Christmas. Well, this year, she finally finished it and brought it to me for quilting.

She just wanted simple quilting and this meander certainly does the trick. It had 2 layers of flannel as the batting, which I've never seen before. It was a bit tricky making sure it was flat with each advance and it is HEAVY!

What a cute idea!

Dottie is working on the binding for her now, so Randy will have his quilt in 2013, I'm sure!

That is a very cute idea! Those bandanas are interesting. I wonder how hard it is to get them squared up to a consistent size and not ruin the design? These look great and your quilting choice was perfect.
