Well, there is nothing on my design wall today, but I do want to share a pic of something that was there for a while. Here is the red quilt for Jeff and Dané. She washed it and put it on the bed right away.

Stashbusting 2011 - #40
Fabric Added this week - 0 yards
Fabric Added Year to Date - 99.625 yards
Fabric Used this week - 8.25 yards
Fabric Used Year to Date - 190.75 yards
YEAR TO DATE STASH USED: 91.175 yards
It was a good week with some finishes, a king size finished with binding and pillowcases, and a queen size top and a lap quilt top finished.
Yesterday at my visit to quilt camp, I completed these to make some pillows for Calise's room. The leaves were signed by friends and family at the baby shower.

I also assembled the leftover blocks from Jeff and Danés quilt into this lap quilt.

And made the scrappy red binding for it:

Here's a corner of the queen size:

Design Wall Monday
8 more blocks are on the wall today. Doesn't look much bigger, but that's a lot of work. I rather liked doing 8 at once, but since one side of each round is sewn with the same fabric, there's not as much variation in the blocks.

I probably would have gotten more done on this if I hadn't started on the Town Square quilt that I bought some of the reds for yesterday. Here's what fits on my ironing table:

Rosemary's Town Square
What a pretty quilt! I just love it and she said it went together quickly. There are some oriental fabrics so I decided to use my Clamshell Circle Lord Boards of this one. I used Glide tan thread and prewound bobbins, Hobbs 80/20 batting.
I'll get a shot of the whole quilt tomorrow.
