Shadowbox & Binding

Last night I bound the Shadowbox quilt and tonight I added the label and took some pics. There are some Hawaiian themed fabrics in this quilt as a memory of Spring Break In Hawaii Quilt Retreat 2010.

I guess I was on a binding roll because after a dip in the pool, I finished this Fig Tree quilt with machine binding:

Then I hand sewed 2 sides of Roberta's quilt. Only one side to go on this one.

I will be loading a customer quilt tomorrow evening, as my personal sewing time has run out. It sure has been fun working on something of my own. And it will be fun to stop by the Open Show at the 4-H Fair to see it displayed. (Hopefully with a pretty ribbon on it!)

great work! Since bindings are not my cuppa tea; I'm amazed at how much you can get done.

You're on a roll. Those bindings will be done in no time. I love the quilting on your shadow box quilt.

Very pretty! I need to get on a binding roll - Keith heads out of time tomorrow so maybe I'll get some bindings on to hand stitch down in the evenings while he's gone.

Hi There!

My DH and I have a Gammill and we've been following your blog.

Anyhow, Gilbert saw your shadowbox quilt and he wants me to make him one, but I can't seem to find the pattern anywhere.

Where did you get yours? *s*

Tks a bunch!
