My first guess would have been Dresden Plate...with points
Dresden Stars. I adore that block and recognize the pieces from one I made last summer.
Clues, clues, we need more clues, that is, of course, if it isn't the famed Dresdan Plate (wink).
Wedges and squares: looks like a Wonky Log Cabin to me.
