Sharon's Chevrons

Sharon made this adorable chevron quilt using half-square triangles.

I wanted to try something different on this one and decided on some ruler work. Straight zig-zag lines in the white and elongated loops in each of the colored triangle pieces.

I love how it turned out and makes me want to try a chevron with half-square triangles myself.

I used Omni white thread and Hobbs 80/20 batting.
I got an email from her after she picked it up and she was so happy with it, she said she is making a twin size with the same pattern.

Great quilting! I have made and quilted a chevron top (for a baby quilt) and it was really quick and easy.

Love it. I have another baby chevron to quilt, but I a just going to use angel wings on it. Maybe I will make myself a chevron and experiment with more sophisticated quilting.
