Pineapple Progress and Prizes

At 11:00 last night I unloaded it, but still have to put it back on to do the side borders. There was a brief moment when I thought that I would just go ahead and do it last night, but today is a big day and I didn't want to be too tired. I'm just happy that it is finished to this point as I didn't want to leave it loaded while I'm at Paducah. I'm not sure why I didn't want to leave it loaded, as I'm sure there are longarmers who work on quilts for weeks, but I've never had one loaded for more that 2-3 days.

A while back I entered a blog contest at Judy's blog Sodypop's Creative Journey and I won. Yesterday I received my order from Columbia River Quilting and I couldn't be happier. I got a set of Jaws to use when realoading a quilt for borders or heaven forbid you notice a missed section, and a Square Spiral & Leaves panto from Keryn Emmerson. The Jaws will certainly come in handy when I reload this quilt.
THANK YOU JUDY!

Well, unless I think of something really important to say before noon, have a great weekend and wish me safe travels to Paducah.

Love that Pineapple quilt. I'm a sucker for the 1930s look.
